The "YC Film Plant" and "ACHEM Yangmei Plant" within our group have implemented the ISO 50001 (Energy Management System, EnMS) energy management system since June 2022. Through systematic energy inventory, energy consumption analysis, energy-saving actions, and regular inspection and improvement, we have enhanced energy efficiency. After verification by a third-party certification body, we officially obtained the ISO 50001 (Energy Management System, EnMS) energy management system certification in January 2023.
The YC Group actively responds to the government's energy conservation and carbon reduction policies. Since May 19, 2021, the "Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction Team" has been officially established to promote the implementation of "energy conservation and carbon reduction." The goal is to reduce the group's energy consumption by 30% over five years. After more than a year of efforts, there has been a 7.8% reduction in electricity usage from 2021 to 2022. We will continue to work harder on the path of energy conservation.The ISO 50001 Energy Management System is a standardized framework proposed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) for systematic energy management applicable to businesses. The purpose of this management system is to enable companies to establish necessary systems and procedures to improve their energy performance, including energy efficiency, energy use, energy consumption, and energy intensity. Through documentation and institutionalization, the certification obtained in this instance confirms the group's commitment to improving energy performance, enhancing the company's green competitive advantage, and fostering sustainable development capabilities.
